David Kelley Bio

David is the President, CEO, and chief vision caster for The Preferred Group of Tampa. Having worked cumulatively for twenty-two years in the company, he has had many different roles at Preferred as he was learning the revenue recovery industry. David has a B.S. degree in Business Management and Marketing and has Master’s and Doctoral seminary degrees associated with leadership development.
He is a past- president and a current officer of the Florida Collectors Association and past chairperson for the American Collectors Association Healthcare Services Committee. David serves on numerous charitable boards and other industry-specific committees. Through Preferred iMPACT, Preferred’s education and professional development division, David shares his passion for teaching and encouraging values-driven, best business and leadership practices.
David also is an interim pastor, coaches High School baseball, serves as the Official’s Liaison for USF Football, and is involved in the development of influencers in the world of sports. He has been married to Paulette for 34 years and they have two grown children, Hayden and Hanna, and a Boston Terrier named Mazie. And he loves golf…
